For I said, “Only let them not rejoice over me, who boast against me when my foot slips!”
Psalm 38:16
But when they had grazed, they became full, they were filled, and their heart was lifted up; therefore they forgot me.
Hosea 13:6
I went to pick up my mom’s temporary passport, and went to visit my mom. Before I went into see my mom, I asked the officer about my mom’s situation with the passport, and they said she can go home now. And he said he will go to check and bring documents for her. in the meantime, it is the time for visiting, so I went into see my mom. I just let her know the situation, and she said she signed on the document which is approval of deport(maybe?). Anyway, I was so relieved, and we were talking about us. After the visiting time, I went back to the officer, and he said the documents are not ready……..
I just forgot that it was all God’s did, and everything is still on God’s hand for a moment. It was not done by me, my dad, dad’s friend, immigration, police or others, but it was all done by God. I just forgot to thank God first, but I felt relieved and thought it was all over.
Of course, I am not proud of what we did for her, but still… I forgot to thank God first.
I think God is telling me that do not be proud ourselves, but think of God, thank God for everything, give all the glory to God, and praise, worhip him, and his good.
